Reticula Limina Series
Reticula Limina Series
Darya Warner...
From the Latin reticulum—meaning “network”—the installation explores the overlap of systems created by humans, nature (fungi), and machine-based algorithms across time and scale.
Reticulum limina unfolds as a time-lapse shaped by image-processing algorithms. Its threshold shifts every nine data points—mirroring the approximate nine-day emergence of visible mycelial networks—culminating in Reticulum mycelium. The selection of marks remains unreadable, a computational opacity that introduces an embedded layer of mystery within the system.
