Collection: Becca Day

Becca Day grew up in Colorado Springs and has always enjoyed art. She started experimenting with abstract painting after having children and has been hooked since. For Becca, abstraction is "treading a path between design and spontaneity; intention and accident". Each of her works are their own experiment and allow room for interpretation of the viewer. Becca works with oil, acrylic and mixed media.

"The act of painting, for me, is an expression of personal freedom and resistance against perfectionism, while at the same time, a practice of refining skill and mastery. I am interested in how intuition plays a role in art-making, and I paint with the intent of creating work that captures the interplay of chaos and order, which is continually fascinating to me." - Becca Day
